I wanted to take lessons again after passing my test about 10 years ago and not having driven for the last 8 years. I knew that I was a nervous driver and even when I passed my test never felt confident in my ability. I felt especially nervous about town driving, being able to take in all the road furniture and getting myself from a to b without the directions of an instructor / passenger.
Fatima has really helped me to improve my driving skills through her patient and calm teaching manner and her ability to focus and improve on my problem areas. What I also found so beneficial about Fatima was that she was so reliable with lessons that we booked in and was always able to be flexible towards my schedule. I also found the experience of driving with Fatima was very comfortable, as she is friendly, chatty and easy to get on with.
Having now completed my course of lessons I am really pleased that my driving skills have improved dramatically and that my confidence is building every time I get in my car. This is all down to Fatima and I would definitely recommend her services.

I would really recommend Fatima and ILM driver training. I started learning to drive with a major driving school and was nearly put off driving for life. After stopping for a while (traumatised!) I found ILM on the internet and that's when my real learning began.
Fatima has a great teaching style- calm and clear- and encourages you to learn, rather than just memorise, the principles behind driving. I passed in December 2009 and feel that I am a good and safe driver because of Fatima's teaching.

I joined ILM driving school in October 2009, I had previously taken lessons for 3 years irregularly because of my previous driving school. I had no confidence, lost motivation and was beginning to lose sight of becoming a independent driver on the road.
I had a short meeting with Fatima and her passion for teaching and developing independent drivers really shone through. She helped me gain a me a sense of determination and self confidence to re start my lessons with the aim of passing within 6 months.
